The Goa Cricket Association announced its full squad for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season on Friday, but Arjun Tendulkar failed to make the cut. The all-rounder, son of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, has represented Goa since the 2022-23 season and recently reached the milestone of 50 wickets in first-class cricket for the state.

The 27-year-old was also absent from Goa’s recent tour of Oman, as per a Sportstar report. Although a report had suggested that Arjun had opted to continue playing for Goa, his name did not feature in the squad announced by the association.

Arjun last turned out for Goa in the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy fixture against Kerala at Porvorim. He also represented the state in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
