Robert Kelker-Kelly, best known for playing Bo Brady on the long-running soap opera Days of Our Lives, has died at the age of 62.
According to TMZ, the medical examiner in Missouri confirmed that Kelker-Kelly died on October 3. His cause of death has not yet been determined.
Robert Kelker-Kelly’s career in television
Kelker-Kelly began his acting career in 1987 when he joined the soap opera Another World as Sam Fowler.
In 1992, he landed one of his best-known roles when he took over the character of Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives from Peter Reckell.
During his run on the show, Kelker-Kelly appeared opposite Kristian Alfonso, who played Hope Brady, and Lisa Rinna, who portrayed Billie Reed. He remained with the series until 1995, when Reckell returned to the role.
Kelker-Kelly later joined General Hospital, where he played Stavros Cassadine. Away from acting, he also worked as a professional pilot.

Kelker-Kelly returned to headlines earlier this year after Lisa Rinna discussed their difficult working relationship in her memoir.
Rinna alleged that the actor had been verbally abusive and manipulative and accused him of playing mind games with her while they worked together on Days of Our Lives.
She also claimed that following Kelker-Kelly’s abrupt exit from the soap, NBC provided her and Kristian Alfonso with security for several weeks.
Kelker-Kelly did not publicly respond to Rinna’s allegations.
Details surrounding Kelker-Kelly’s death remain limited. The Missouri medical examiner confirmed his death on October 3, but a cause of death has not yet been disclosed.
Kelker-Kelly was 62.
