25+ Father's Day Gift Ideas (That He'll Love)

25+ Father’s Day Gift Ideas (That He’ll Love)

My husband once shouted “MAYDAY!” through a baby monitor while changing a diaper. I don’t remember the details . . . only that we were both bleary-eyed and navigating parenthood for the first time.

Not long after, he began taking our firstborn out for Saturday morning daddy-daughter coffee dates. Coffee for him, mango for her, and a few hours of uninterrupted sleep for me. 🙂

Those days are long behind us, but from that moment to this, he has shown up in countless ways. Mostly “boring” ones . . . the things you notice only if you’re paying attention. A few memorable ones, like the time he defended our home against rattlesnake with a shovel while we hid in the bathroom.

Personally, I celebrate him every day when I wake up and find freshly brewed coffee waiting for me, but a special day to thank dads is more than called for.

With that in mind, I’ve put together a list of Father’s Day gift ideas that guys will actually love.

Father’s Day Gift Ideas Under $30

1. Cast Iron Smashburger Press – Made from sturdy cast iron, this press has the weight needed to flatten burgers evenly and create a great sear without a lot of effort. It works well on a flat top grill, griddle, cast iron skillet, or regular pan, and can handle the high heat needed for cooking burgers, sandwiches, bacon, and more.

2. Cork Massage Balls for Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Muscle Knots & Yoga – These cork massage balls allow your recipient to melt away tension anywhere—just place one under a tight spot and gently lean in. They’re ideal for releasing trigger points, loosening stubborn knots, amd easing plantar fascia tightness.

3. Shower Scalp Massager – In addition to just feeling amazing, this scalp massager helps lift dandruff, increase circulation, and give hair a fuller, denser appearance. It can also be used on the neck and shoulders for tension relief. Fyi, I’ve tested it and it doesn’t tangle long hair, so it’s the kind of gift you can also borrow. 🙂

4. Purity Coffee Single Serve Coffee Sachets (SAVE 20% WITH CODE MP) – Just add water and voila! Each sachet contains the same clean, antioxidant-rich coffee Purity is known for 0 certified organic and screened for mold, mycotoxins, pesticides, and other contaminants. My husband and I always keep a few packages stashed away in our bags for coffee emergencies. 🙂

5. Hydro Flask 20 Oz. Insulated Coffee Cup – For the guy who likes his coffee hot but doesn’t always get to drink it right away. This insulated stainless steel cup keeps drinks warm longer than a standard mug and works well for slow mornings, road trips, camping, or backyard coffee breaks.

6. Terra Thread Organic Cotton Toiletry Case – Made with organic cotton canvas, this simple toiletry case is perfect for travel, gym bags, or keeping everyday essentials organized. Pair it with homemade tallow balm, beard oil, or travel-size favorites for an easy personalized gift.

7. Solar Phone Charger – This waterproof solar charger comes with three ports so that phones can be charged simultaneously. It also has a built-in flashlight.

8. 100 Parks, 5,000 Ideas: Where To Go, When To Go, What To See, What To Do – For the guy that’s craving a little adventure, this National Geographic guide to U.S. and Canadian parks is perfect for planning family experiences.

9. Firestarter Set – Have you ever started a fire with nothing but some kindling and striker? Me neither, but your recipient can with the überleben Zünden Fire Starter. It can throw sparks in any weather and at any altitude, and it’s designed to be carried around the neck for easy portability.

10. PaleoValley Grass-Fed Beef Sticks – This is the only company in the US that uses old-world methods of fermenting so that their beef sticks are shelf stable without the use of chemicals or questionable ingredients. Virtually all other similar snack stick products use GMO corn-based citric acid encapsulated in hydrogenated oils to process their products. Instead, PaleoValley sticks contain gut-friendly probiotics! I personally like the jalapeño flavor, but my kids prefer the original and summer sausage flavors.

11. Old Fashioned Beard Oil from Primally Pure – Crafted with organic ingredients, this beard oil softens scruff while moisturizing the skin underneath. It has a deep, woodsy scent with bright citrus notes for a clean, classic finish.

Gift Ideas Under $50

12. Cork Foam Roller – A foam roller that isn’t made of… foam. Cork offers steady pressure that helps release tight muscles, support mobility, and improve recovery. It’s naturally antimicrobial, eco-friendly, and grippier than standard rollers, making it perfect for deep tissue work or gentle daily maintenance.

13. Terra Thread Organic Cotton Laptop Sleeve – This organic cotton laptop sleeve is a practical upgrade for work, travel, or coffee-shop writing sessions. It has a clean, minimal look, a carrying handle, and enough structure to help protect a laptop without feeling bulky.

14. Hydro Flask 32 Oz Water Bottle – These insulated stainless steel bottles keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours. They’re extremely durable and dishwasher safe, making them a great option for workouts, travel, and more. If the guy in your life doesn’t have consistent access to filtered water, I recommend considering the Clearly Filtered bottle instead.

15. Stainless Steel Manual Coffee Grinder – For travel, camping and hiking. It’s compact, doesn’t need electricity, and makes it easier to enjoy good coffee almost anywhere. Because coffee.

Gift Ideas Over $50

16. Clearly Filtered Water Bottle – This filtered water bottle makes it easy to turn ordinary tap water into cleaner, better-tasting water on the go. It’s especially helpful for travel, gyms, restaurants, airports, and anywhere filtered water isn’t readily available. Safely removes up to 99.99% of over 200 contaminants including lead (99.34%0 and fluoride (99.43%).

17. Terra Thread Organic Cotton Duffel Bag – This sturdy organic cotton duffel is roomy enough for weekend trips, gym gear, or road trip essentials, but still simple and classic enough for everyday use. It’s a great non-leather option for guys who value practical, durable gear.

18. Shiatsu Pillow Massager with Heat – We have one of these and it’s amazing for working on the neck, shoulders, lower back, thighs, and calves. The kneading motion plus gentle heat makes it a great gift for anyone who carries tension or could use a little more recovery time built into the day.

19. Toups & Co. Frankincense Tallow Balm (SAVE 10% WITH HEATHERD10) – Because men have skin, too, and this stuff smells amazing. 🙂 Tallow is uniquely compatible with our skin’s biology, leaving it supple and nourished after use.

20. Lifepro DynaMini Handheld Percussion Massage Gun (SAVE $10 WITH CODE MP10) – Great for people who primarily deal with tough muscle knots and aches. This massage gun comes with 5 interchangeable heads that help release tension in both surface and deep tissue layers.

Gift Ideas Over $75

21. SunDown Or Nightfall Glasses (Use code MP10 for 10% Off) – These glasses are designed to support healthier evening light exposure by reducing the wavelengths that can interfere with melatonin production. SunDown lenses are a good option for winding down in the evening while still keeping things relatively natural-looking, while NightFall lenses offer stronger nighttime support by blocking both blue and green wavelengths. They’re a great choice for anyone who watches TV, uses screens at night, or wants a simple way to support better sleep habits without giving up evening routines.

22. Men’s Grooming Bundle from Primally Pure (SAVE 10% with MOMMYPOTAMUS10) – This bundle includes their Bergamot + Eucalyptus Deodorant, Old Fashioned Beard Oil, Clarifying Bar and Soothing Cream – everything needed for a grooming routine without synthetic fragrances or harsh chemicals. Makes a great all-in-one gift for guys who appreciate clean ingredients but want something easy to use.

23. Sound + Sleep SE Noise Machine– White noise machines contain harsh, high-pitched frequencies that can actually raise cortisol levels, which is why many manufacturers have begun offering more soothing colors of noise – particularly pink and brown. In nature, you’ll find pink noise by listening to  the sound of crashing waves or rustling leaves, while brown noise is deeper . . . think rumbling thunder or the low roar of a large waterfall. With 64 settings, the Sound + Sleep SE pretty much has it all.

24. Cooling Bamboo Weighted Blanket from YnM – Perfect for hot sleepers, this blanket helps calm the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight mode) and increase parasympathetic activity (rest and recuperation mode). It can be used in the daytime to create a sense of well-being.

25. DefenderShield Phone Case – Independently tested by the FCC, this phone case uses conductive, non-conductive and advanced absorption shielding materials together to block, divert, and absorb EMFs, Radio Frequency (RF) and heat radiation.

Gift Ideas Over $100

26. Cork Briefcase – This cork briefcase has the polished look of a classic messenger bag without leather. It’s lightweight, water-resistant, and roomy enough for a laptop and daily essentials, making it a practical work or travel bag for guys who like natural materials and a clean, understated style. Cork is also a great non-toxic alternative to many synthetic materials because it’s a natural, renewable material harvested from cork oak trees and doesn’t require the PVC coatings often found in conventional bags and accessories.

27. Tucktec Folding Kayak – These folding kayaks weigh just 25 lbs each and fold up small enough to fit in the trunk of nearly any car. No roof rack needed!

28. Oura Ring – When I realized how much valuable information I was getting from my Oura ring, I bought one for my husband. He loves it, and weirdly wherever we go other guys ask him all about the features and how comfortable it is. (Very comfortable.) Oura recently created Circles, which allows users to share their Readiness, Sleep and Activity scores with hand-selected family and friends. My husband and I can see each other’s scores in the app, so if they’re lower than usual we will check in and see what the other needs to feel better.

29. Lifepro Vibration Plate – My first experience with whole body vibration therapy was at a wellness clinic, and it made such a difference in my overall well-being that I bought one when I returned home. It supports detoxification (via lymphatic drainage) and calms the sympathetic (fight or flight) nervous system. It can also be used to amplify the effectiveness of exercise, and my husband and I use it for at-home workouts.

30. Apollo Neuro (SAVE 10% WITH CODE MP10) – This wearable device uses subtle vibrations (haptic feedback) to help our brain and body feel safe, resulting in benefits like reduced stress levels, better sleep, and improved focus. It was developed by neuroscientist and psychiatrist Dr. David Rabin MD, PhD and has been validated by “gold standard” double-blind randomized placebo controlled crossover trials.

I’ve written about my experience with the Apollo Neuro here, and you can see all the studies that have been completed or are in progress here.

DIY Father’s Day Gift Ideas

Homemade Beard Oil – This homemade beard oil softens and tames scruff, reduces skin flaking (aka “beardruff”), and smells great. You only need a few ingredients to make it, too.

Bay Rum Aftershave – Clean and woodsy with spicy notes and a hint of citrus, this aftershave smells amazing.

gifts for men

Top Gifts For Men (Ideas For Father’s Day, Bday, and More)

What do you do for gifts when the man in your life is hard to shop for? I’ve been trying to answer that question for years. It always seems tougher to find good gift ideas for men than it does for women.

This post includes some of the best Father’s Day and birthday gifts I’ve found over the years. It also includes unique Father’s Day gifts that other family members have enjoyed and items on their wishlists. You can also check out my Christmas gifts for men gift guide for even more ideas!

Father’s Day Gift Guide

Your dad, husband, uncle, etc., probably doesn’t need another tie. And a lot of gift guides for men recommend things like an Apple Watch, Airpods, and gadgets like Bluetooth speakers. These give off a lot of EMF waves that I’m not comfortable with.

If you’re looking for a gift he’ll use and love, here are some of my favorite ideas for men that I’ve given or that my dad mentioned he loves. You can even pair it with a heartfelt Father’s Day gift card.

Food and Drink

You know that old saying: the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach? What guy doesn’t love some good tasting food? Here are some healthy food and drink options any man will love!

  • Water Bottles –  If Dad needs to stay hydrated on the go, then a nice water bottle or tumbler can be a good gift. I like this RTIC Tumbler and it performs as well as the high-priced Yei. A water bottle from Clearly Filtered is another great option. It has a built-in water filter so Dad can refill it from anywhere.
  • Whiskey Glass Set – A crystal whiskey glass set is a great gift for any man who loves a good whiskey or bourbon. They’re freezable to keep drinks cold and feature a detailed 3D replica of the Grand Canyon.
  • Ice Shaker – This drink tumbler keeps drinks cold for up to 36 hours. Plus they come in all sorts of specialty designs.
  • Grill – A grill upgrade or a new set of grilling tools is a classic Father’s Day gift. It’s the gift that keeps on giving in the form of delicious barbecue all summer long. Plus, here are my tips for healthy grilling.
  • Laila Ali Spices – My friend Laili Ali (yes, the daughter of Mohammed Ali!) handcrafted her own line of delicious spices and seasonings with quality ingredients. Pick up some here and get 15% off with code WellnessMama15
  • BBQ Sauces  – Looking for something small for the kids to give? These healthy BBQ sauces come in different flavors. You can even make a gift box with a variety of seasonings, marinades, and unique yet healthy food items.
  • Meat Subscription Box– Forget the fruit of the month club (although I’m not hating on fruit!). Dad can get grass-fed and organic meat with a meat subscription box from ButcherBox, Wild Pastures, or Vital Choice.
  • Coffee maker – Get him an espresso machine or a Chemex for a pour over coffee. Try it with Purity Coffee for a smooth flavor without any of the toxins or pesticides found in regular coffee. And Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee is the perfect healthy, convenient coffee mix.
  • Hot Sauce – Gift Dad some tasty (and healthy) buffalo sauce or steak sauce from Primal Kitchen. Or try some of this organic habanero hot sauce.
  • Pizza Oven – This is a bigger item but it adds ambiance to your outdoor space. Ooni pizza ovens can be more affordable than the handbuilt brick versions and they cook the food on a stone surface for amazing flavor. They’re not just for pizzas, but they’re great for adding a smoky flavor to meat and veggie dishes too.
  • Paleo Valley – They offer clean supplements and foods that are perfect for busy lifestyles. Their grass-fed beef sticks are a family favorite.
  • Chef Knives – Is dad into cooking? Gift him some of the world’s sharpest knives from Chef’s Foundry for easy food prep!

Camping and Outdoors

These gifts are great because they combine a physical gift that leads to a camping experience as well. Camping is a great family activity with some major health benefits. One study found that a week of camping without artificial light drastically improved circadian rhythm and sleep. If your guy likes camping, here are a few great gear options:

  • Solo Fire Pit – I got this amazing backyard fire pit as part of my backyard makeover (I also more recently built a backyard sauna!).The Solo stove burns wood much more efficiently and directs heat exactly where you’d want it, without the smoke. It looks super sleek too.
  • Knife – This folding knife is something your husband or dad can use all the time. Many men carry knives that they use for anything and everything. A high quality folding knife (or any knife really) is a classic guy gift and a pretty safe bet he’ll love and appreciate it.
  • Flashlight – Our family loves this Surefire flashlight and it goes with us when we travel. It’s super bright and small enough to fit in a pocket. We’ve had this flashlight forever and use it for everything!
  • Firestarter Kit – Useful tool to start fires without matches or a lighter.
  • Survival Water Filters – The Lifestraw or Sawyer Water Filter fit in your pocket. Perfect for camping or travelling.
  • Smart Wool Socks – Warm but not sweaty and they keep feet dry. Great socks for hiking, skiing, or everyday use.
  • 30-Day Lantern – A really long-lasting lantern for the outdoorsman who loves to camp.
  • Tactical Pen – More than just a pen, this multi-tool works in all conditions and can break a car window if a person is trapped.
  • Camping Hammock – A portable hammock that fits in a small bag and is great for travel, camping, or lounging in the backyard while listening to podcasts.

Experience-Based Gifts for Men

I firmly believe the best gifts are often things you can’t wrap. In our house, experience gifts always beat material gifts and we choose these whenever possible. They can also make a great last-minute gift since you don’t have to wait for shipping.

Search your area for adventurous offerings like pole vaulting, fishing, diving, sailing, rowing, kayaking, or even juggling! Mixing it up keeps things interesting and could lead to a new date night idea or family pastime.

  • Time Off –  One thing all parents need is some time off to recharge! Find some time in the schedule for him to camp, hunt, go hiking, or play sports. If you like, buy him some gear to go with the experience present so he has something to open.
  • Massage Classes – The Melt online massage course (all PG, I promise!), makes a great gift for couples. Pair it with some homemade massage oil.
  • Adventure Experience –  Think fishing charter with his friends, a surfing or water skiing lesson if you live by the water, or if your guy is adventurous, sky diving! Scuba certifications can make a great couple’s gift too. You can go through the process together and end up with a great hobby to enjoy in the future.
  • Homebrew – If your man likes beer, try a homebrewing beer kit as a fun new hobby. This book is a great guide for getting started. You can get him a complete homebrew kit here with some organic hops to go with it.
  • Sports – Sports-related experiences are a hit with many guys. One of my biggest gifts ever was gifting tickets to spring training for his favorite team. Tickets to go see their teams play are also a big hit.
  • Pickle Ball Paddle – If he’s caught the pickle ball bug, then how about a new paddle? This one comes with a cover.

Sentimental Gifts

  • Custom Fleece Quilt – If he has a lot of old, sentimental t-shirts, here’s a fun way to get some more use from them. Instead of them sitting in a box in the closet for years, you can make an easy handmade keepsake quilt. This would be a great gift for a child or other relative as well!
  • “I Love You Because” Calendar – This scrapbook calendar is budget-friendly and also sentimental. Add your own photos from date nights, your wedding, family trips, etc., to each month.
  • A Note a Day – Make the holiday extra special with a handwritten note for each day of the year with something you love about them. These can range from heartfelt and romantic to silly.
  • Photobook – I make photobooks from Mixbook for the kids every year and they’re a great way to document fun memories. Try making one for Dad or your significant other!

Tech Gifts

  • Defender Pad –  If your guy works on a computer a lot, a protective laptop board is a great gift. This board makes it easier to work with a laptop on your lap. It also protects the stomach and lower areas from the heat and radiation.
  • Drone – Most men dream of flying at one time or another. A drone is a great way to experience it by flying his own personal aircraft. This is one of the better affordable drones on the market and would make any man a happy camper! Or see more options here if you want to splurge.
  • Healthy Wearables – Unlike a smart watch or fitness trackers that emit radiation, try a wearable that positively influences health. The Apollo Neuro uses calming frequencies for less stress and better sleep. I also love the WAVwatch that uses healing frequencies for a wide variety of health issues.
  • Daylight Computer – The Daylight Computer is unlike any I’ve ever used. It has a paperlike display with no bluelight so it’s like reading a book. However, they can still use it with all their favorite apps.

Fitness Gifts

If your guy is into health and fitness, here are some gifts that will fit his lifestyle. I’ve included things to support workouts and recovery and track progress.

  • Sauna Blanket – In between (and during) workout days I like to get some sauna sessions in for better fitness. I love this portable and compact sauna blanket from HigherDOSE (they also make great PEMF mats!). Use code WELLNESSMAMA15 for 15% off.
  • Rumble Roller – The rumble roller is one of my favorite gifts of all time. It’s an at home deep tissue massage that’s great for athletes or relieving stress. Check out their different options here.
  • Myobuddy Massager – This massager tool (can you tell I love massage?) relaxes tight muscles. It has 3 speeds and uses heat and percussive technology to work trigger points.
  • Oura Ring – I’ve had my Oura ring for years now and it’s a great way to track everything from HRV to deep sleep. It offers actionable insights and personalized recommendations.
  • Native Path – Healthy protein is a must and Native Path grass-fed collagen makes adding joint and muscle support easy.
  • Kettlebells – Kettlebells make workouts easier and more convenient. Plus they’re compact and there are so many workout options with them.
  • Vibration Plate – The Power Plate is great for recovery or during workouts to add another layer of challenge. It activates more muscles, increases fat burn, and is even used by Clint Eastwood, Mark Wahlberg, and more.
  • Cold Plunge – If he’s into extreme wellness, then try out a cold plunge! Check it out here and read more about the health benefits here.
  • Creatine Gummies – Delicious, cherry flavored gummies that supply creatine for better energy, focus, cognition, and endurance.
  • Electrolytes – My whole family loves LMNT balanced electrolytes for hot or active days. The packets are convenient for travel, but I also love their new canned drinks.
  • Wearable Red Light – FlexBeam has a unique red light device they can actually wear. It uses both red and near-infrared light therapy to stimulate cell energy production and faster healing.
  • Pranamat – This looks like it wouldn’t feel nice, but it actually activates acupressure points to relax muscles. I’ve noticed faster recovery and better sleep from using my Pranamat.

Skincare

We often think of skincare when it comes to women, but men have skin too. And for men who have sensitive skin or really thick facial hair, natural shaving options are also a great gift. Here are some ideas that have been a hit over the years.

Even More Gifts For Men

  • The Best Wallet – Men can be tough on wallets. My dad used to go through one a year! If he likes the best of things (that will last!), this leather wallet comes with a lifetime guarantee. Saddleback leather also has lots of other high-quality leather items and I own several.
  • Notebook or Journal – These are perfect for jotting down thoughts and ideas, taking notes, setting goals, and keeping track of schedules. A bullet journal serves as a journal, calendar, and notebook in one. I also love the Moleskine which comes in different sizes and styles or this 5 minute journal.
  • Giant Tumble Tower – It’s like a game of Jenga but jumbo sized. This is a great activity to do with the kids or grandkids.

Tell Him You Appreciate Him!

I suspect most husbands/dads would love to hear more that we appreciate them! A handwritten Father’s Day card and a big hug can go a long way when it comes to the perfect gift for Dad.

mothers day gifts

My Best Gift Ideas for Mom on Mother’s Day

As Mother’s Day approaches, I’ve gotten several requests for gift ideas for Mom. Sometimes regular chocolate doesn’t cut it anymore!

I’ve compiled a list of some things I’d want to get myself or gift my own mom. These are items I’ve personally tried and love using. Feel free to add your favorites in the comments! Some of these definitely aren’t your typical gifts but will help Mom be healthy and happy.

Gifts for Mother’s Day (She Won’t Just Pretend She Loves)

How do you get a gift for the person that gave birth to you, cooked food for your entire childhood, and stayed by your side through teething/tantrums/friend drama/dating and all the other challenges of childhood?

It likely isn’t possible to find one gift that says, “thanks for everything you’ve done for me.” However, I’ve compiled a list of gifts Mom will be able to use and enjoy. These are gifts I’d give to my own mom or that I’d be thrilled to receive from my kids.

Of course, nothing beats a heartfelt letter or handmade gift, but if you’ve already got those covered, here’s a list of some other ideas she’ll love! Some of these brands are offering sales for Mother’s Day, so be sure to check out their sites for any deals.

Natural Skincare

  • Annmarie Gianni Skincare – I love Annmarie skincare products and how clean and effective they are! Their clean beauty trial includes four different products that leave skin feeling refreshed and toned! Treat the special Mom in your life to an amazing experience (and price!).
  • Alitura – Along with the above I’ve found myself using Alitura’s face mask regularly. I’ve definitely noticed improvements in my skin since adding it into my regular routine. The founder, Andy, was on the podcast and shares his inspirational story of how and why he created this clean line of skin products.
  • OneSkin – I had the founder on the podcast as I was so interested in the science behind their products. They not only have great skin products, but a new hair serum as well. The OS-O1 FACE supplement is one of my go-to products in the morning.
  • Wellnesse Personal Care Products – I helped co-formulate this line of oral care to make Mom feel super pampered (and it’s safe for the whole family!). Better yet, these formulas remineralize teeth with beneficial and science-backed natural ingredients.
  • Toups & Co. – This all natural skincare and makeup line features nourishing tallow and clean ingredients. They’re perfect for skin of any age to help give you more of that youthful glow.
  • MadeOn – I discovered this small family company years ago and I still love their hard lotion bars. Made with simple ingredients, it’s like a DIY lotion bar without the work!
  • Skinny Confidential – I love their ice roller to help reduce puffiness in my face. Or try their “butter brush” for lymph drainage and exfoliation.
  • Orglamix – Clean makeup, skincare, and wellness products. Not sure what to choose? Get mom a monthly curated beauty subscription box to keep the surprises coming.
  • Castor Oil – Beauty and detox are easy with these less mess castor oil packs from Queen of the Thrones castor oil.

Food and Kitchen

  • Solo Smokeless Outdoor Fire Pit – This stand-alone, sleek-looking fire pit is a Wellness Mama team favorite this year. It burns natural wood, gives off the perfect amount of heat, and keeps irritating smoke away! Ideal for outdoor entertaining.
  • Daily Harvest Smoothie Box – These real-food smoothies are super nourishing and delicious. They’re my quick-fix snack or treat just for me. All you need is a freezer and a blender. The gift box option also lets the recipient pick the varieties, so you don’t have to guess what they would like.
  • Organifi Gold – One of my favorite nighttime rituals, this relaxing drink features superfoods like reishi and lemon balm.
  • New Cookware – If mom’s going to cook dinner it may as well be in style. I know using my beautiful set of non-toxic cookware from Our Place brings me joy every day! I also love this cookware from Caraway. Use the code WELLNESSMAMA for $10 off. (Can’t decide? See my full cookware review here.)
  • Real Plans Membership – I love this meal planning service that lets me plan my meals each week in just minutes and shop in half the time. Give Mom some time off by saving her time on meal planning and prep (and even better, plan and shop for her for a few weeks!).
  • Thrive Market Membership – Thrive Market membership gives Mom access to the best quality organic groceries and beauty products at the best prices.
  • Anything Le Creuset – Incredible dishes. I’ve been collecting a few pieces over the years and am resisting the urge to buy them all!
  • Air Fryer – This Wonder Oven (a non-toxic air fryer combo) is a family and Wellness Mama team favorite. Reheat or cook food fast without a microwave. This can air fry, bake, toast, and more.
  • The Wellness Mama Cookbook or The Wellness Mama 5-Step Lifestyle Detox – Ok, I’m biased, but my cookbook is filled with two hundred delicious real-food recipes that our family loves (and I know yours will, too!).
  • Cheesecake – To go with a cup of tea or simply for a healthier version of this delicious dessert, try a Wonder Monday Cheesecake. Save $5 off your order with the code WELLNESSMAMA5.
  • Olive oil – Handpicked and freshly pressed olive oil is now the only olive oil you’ll find in my kitchen! It’s so fragrant and flavorful compared to the options at the local big box stores.

Clean Water and Drinks

  • Hydroflask Water Bottle – These steel bottles are cute and really functional. They keep liquids cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to twelve.
  • Clearly Filtered also makes similar stainless steel water bottles but with a filter built-in. It’s an easy way to always have clean, filtered water on the go. They also come in a new 40-oz size shaped like the popular Stanley mugs.
  • RTIC Tumbler – This one performs as well as the high-priced Yeti, and I use mine all the time. Great for coffee, smoothies, and water.
  • Clean Water and more – Our friends at Radiant Life carry so many high-quality products that I couldn’t live without. Moms often worry about the health of their families. Our Radiant Life water filter was one of my favorite gifts ever.
  • French Press Coffee Maker – Coffee is my sanity some days. If the mom in your life is the same way, help her ditch the toxic plastic coffee maker with a glass French press or any of these non-toxic coffee makers.
  • Four Sigmatic Coffee – I guarantee she’s been wanting to try it, and Mother’s Day is the perfect excuse to splurge. It also makes a great “Happy Mother’s Day to me” gift! If she’s not into mushroom coffee, try a bag of smooth, amazing Purity Coffee. I often blend the two.
  • Sip Herbals – Like the taste of coffee but want an alternative? Sip Herbals offers delicious, herbal drinks that are full and smooth, but without the caffeine or coffee.
  • LMNT – If you haven’t treated yourself to this electrolyte drink mix, you are missing out! My favorite flavors? Grapefruit Salt and their brand new Pink Lemonade flavor (available for a limited time).
  • Pique Tea – For the Mom who begins (or ends!) her day with a cup of tea. Pique uses incredibly fresh and pure ingredients and triple screens for toxins. Pair it with a pretty new glass tea pot.
  • Kombucha Brewing – Give mom everything she needs to brew her own kombucha (including classes!).
  • Healthy Chocolate – Spring and Mulberry offer really tasty chocolate in a variety of unique flavors. Plus they’re sweetened with dates, not refined sugar.

Relaxation and Pampering

  • Myobuddy Massager – An amazing handheld massager. This percussive massager heats up, vibrates, and feels like a real massage. This is an especially great gift for a nursing mom to give her some love on her neck, shoulders, and back. Use the code WELLNESSMAMA for special discounts!
  • Shiatsu Massage Pillow – I received this as a gift and absolutely love it! It rivals an actual massage, and I use it all the time after long days of cooking and running around with the kids.
  • 100% Silk Sleep Mask – A sleep mask that’s actually comfortable. This mulberry silk sleep mask feels lightweight and is great for travel or home. I often use mine!
  • Dry Brush Set – Brushing isn’t just for hair and teeth. Brushing skin can help it stay smooth and supple, move lymph, and may improve collagen. It also feels great and is super-relaxing.
  • Plant Therapy essential oils come in affordable singles and unique blends. They also have essential oil infused lotions, hair care and skincare products, and more.
  • Revive Essential Oils – Another favorite, they have clean essential oils in a variety of singles and unique blends. How about their new Brain Fog Fix or Hello Sunshine blends?
  • Nail Polish – Pick out a few fun colors and have a girls’ spa night in. Add in this fun manicure set.
  • Fontana candles – I finally found a non-toxic candle that I love. Their candles are made with beeswax and coconut and scented with essential oils. They even use wooden wicks. They have some great scents, including lemon meringue and wildflower citrus.
  • Magnesium lotion – Natural magnesium lotion to help with cramps and better sleep. It’s smooth, non-greasy, and so relaxing.

Healthy Lifestyle

  • Wake-up Light Gentle Alarm Clock – Make waking up less of a chore with this natural alarm clock. Mom can gently wake up to gradual light and sound with this wake-up light.
  • Himalayan Salt Lamp – Mom can enjoy the soothing warm orange glow at night from these beautiful lamps. This one comes in a modern, rectangular design.
  • BON CHARGE – I wear these blue light blocking glasses after dark for better sleep. I also like their red light face mask for an extra skin boost.
  • 10,000 Lux Happy Light – I use this super-bright light in the morning on winter days to keep my cortisol levels healthy.
  • Sauna – While we’re dreaming, how about a sauna? A sound-proof house of her own away from everything that will also improve her health!? She’ll be thanking you for years! I also love this personal sauna and used it for years in my bedroom.
  • Sauna Blanket – Sauna has tons of health benefits, but not everyone has the space for one. This sauna blanket is a great alternative for those who are short on space and/or need to find a budget-friendly sauna. Simply unfold it, plug it in, and relax in the blanket while you watch tv or listen to music or a podcast. Use code WELLNESSMAMA20 for a discount.
  • Apollo Neuro – Unlike other wearable devices, this doesn’t track your stress or sleep, it helps fix them. It releases soothing vibrations that can help mom feel calmer, get better sleep, and be more focused. Use code wellnessmama15 for a discount.
  • Cork Yoga Mat – Most yoga mats are made from plastic, but this one from 42 Birds is made from eco-friendly and sustainable cork.
  • Everbella Collagen – I almost put this in the food section because it tastes so good! Give Mom the gift of collagen for better hair, skin, nails, and gut health with the delicious taste of caramel.
  • Herbs and DIY – Mountain Rose Herbs is one of my favorite herbal companies to buy from. They have everything from bulk organic herbs to teas to bath products to DIY ingredients for all sorts of natural recipes.

Miscellaneous

  • Amazon Gift Cards– Give mom the gift of a gift card. Amazon has tons of items available and this way she can choose exactly what she wants.
  • Wine Bottle Tiki Torch – Upcycle old wine bottles with these adorable tiki-torch kits.
  • Mason Jar Accessories – Mason jars are versatile and get used for a lot around here. Up Mom’s Mason jar game with accessories like soap pump toppers, fermentation lids, sprouting lids, and more.
  • Bag or Purse – Saddleback leather is one of my favorite places to get quality leather bags, wallets, purses, and more. They’re insanely good quality and come with a 100 year warranty.

If timely shipping is a concern, no worries. Slip a picture of the gift in a box or a card and Mom will have something to look forward to.

Bottom Line: Show Mom Lots of Love!

I’m not always a fan of Hallmark holidays, but moms give so much day in and day out (pregnancy and childbirth, just for starters!) and certainly deserve to be celebrated. Show Mom a little (or a lot) of extra love and care this Mother’s Day and every day… hopefully, some of these ideas help!

Valentine`s Day Self-Care Ideas That Go Beyond Romance

Valentine’s Day Self-Care Ideas That Go Beyond Romance

Valentine’s week is no longer just about romance. Simple self-care rituals, skincare habits and mindful pauses are helping people reconnect with themselves and unwind.

Highlights:

  • Self-care routines turn daily habits into moments of calm
  • Simple skincare rituals support both skin health and emotional balance
  • Rest, nourishment and mindful pauses are key to sustainable wellbeing

February is often associated with roses, chocolates and candlelit dinners. Yet beyond romantic gestures, Valentine’s season is also a timely reminder that self-love and self-care deserve equal attention (1✔ ✔Trusted Source

In recent conversations around wellness, skincare has emerged as more than a beauty habit. It is increasingly seen as a daily ritual tied closely to emotional well-being, stress management and overall health.

Self-Love Spa Day Ideas At Home

A self-love spa day does not require appointments or expensive products. A warm bath with soothing scents, soft lighting and unhurried time can calm the nervous system. Follow it with a mindful skincare routine that focuses on cleansing, hydration and nourishment. DIY packs such as a gentle face mask or foot soak can add value. The aim is not perfection, but presence.

Everyday Skincare Rituals for Emotional Balance

Daily skincare can become a grounding habit when done slowly. Massaging cleanser into the skin, applying moisturizer with intention and finishing with sunscreen in the morning helps create predictable moments of calm. These routines offer structure during busy days and allow the skin to respond steadily rather than reactively.

Nourishing The Body as Part Of Self-Care

Self-care extends beyond topical treatments. Eating balanced meals, staying hydrated and following natural hunger cues all support skin health. Choosing foods that feel nourishing rather than restrictive helps reinforce a sense of care from within. This approach supports whole-body wellness, which often reflects outwardly on the skin (2✔ ✔Trusted Source

Rest and Digital Detox As Self-Love Practices

Quality rest is a powerful form of self-care. Creating a bedtime routine that limits screen time, lowers lighting and signals the body to unwind can improve sleep quality. Even short breaks from constant notifications during the day can reduce mental clutter and support emotional clarity.

Movement and Mindfulness For Gentle Rejuvenation

Movement does not have to be intense to be effective. Stretching, slow walks or simple breathing exercises help release tension stored in the body. Pairing movement with mindfulness encourages awareness without judgment, reinforcing kindness towards oneself.

Self-care becomes meaningful when it fits naturally into daily life. When routines feel supportive rather than demanding, they are easier to maintain and more rewarding. Over time, these choices help build a relationship with oneself that feels steady, respectful and restorative.

If this season nudges you to slow down and listen to your body, honour that instinct. Your skin often reflects how you treat yourself. Make space for small rituals that remind you that your well-being matters, today and every day.

8 Thoughtful Last Minute Gift Ideas

8 Thoughtful Last Minute Gift Ideas

Have I ever told you about Operation Popcorn & PJ’s — the night where my husband and I tell our kids to get ready for bed as usual, then surprise them at the last minute by piling them into the car with gingerbread cookies to drive around and look at holiday lights?

Most years we plan it for a certain day, then reschedule the mission because another activity takes way longer than expected, or I forget an ingredient for the cookies, or . . . life.

All that to say, if you planned to have your holiday shopping done by now and life got in the way, I get it. Here are seven last minute gift ideas that are truly thoughtful and don’t scream “I picked this up at the grocery store fifteen minutes ago.”

Or if you prefer – here are some homemade gift ideas that turn out beautifully and don’t require any special skills.

1. Toups & Co. Gift Card

Toups & Co. is one of my longtime favorites for natural skincare and makeup – their ingredients lists are short, recognizable, and intentionally simple.

Instead of guessing shades or skin needs, a Toups & Co. gift card lets your recipient choose exactly what works for them—their favorite lipstick colors, the right foundation match, and skincare that supports their goals.

Something to put under the tree:

  • A small beauty bag or zip pouch
  • A natural-bristle makeup brush tied with ribbon
  • A simple card explaining the gift

2. Purity Coffee Gift Subscription

Purity Coffee Gift Subscription (SAVE 20% WITH CODE MP20) –  For the houses that run on laughter, love, and really good coffee. Purity is the only brand I’ve found that’s certified organic and screened for mold, mycotoxins, pesticides, and other things you don’t want in your morning cup.

Their gift subscription delivers fresh, antioxidant-rich coffee to your giftee every month – available in whole bean or ground – and you can prepay for 3 or 6 months.

3. The Making Herbal Preparations 101 Course from Herbal Academy

Perfect for the curious beginner herbalist, this course covers the four basic categories of herbal preparations, 12 everyday safe herbs to use at home, and 33 DIY herbal recipes from teas and tinctures to salves and oils.

This course will guide your recipient through 7 convenient and compact lessons that are chock-full of hands-on activities, videos, and helpful herbal charts to guide them on their way to making herbal preparations at home.

Something to put under the tree:

  • Tie a handwritten card with course details to a small hunk of beeswax (often found at health food stores) that your recipient can use to make herbal salves
  • Tie a fresh sprig of rosemary to the outside of a card with details inside

4. PACT Gift Card

If your recipient loves organic cotton basics, sustainable wardrobe staples, and ultra-comfy loungewear, a Pact gift card is an easy choice.

Their pieces are soft, well-made, and built for everyday comfort – and the gift card lets them choose the styles they’ll reach for most.

GIVE A PACT GIFT CARD

5. Kids Cook Real Food eCourse

Your kids learn an essential skill they need in order to eat healthy, and someone makes dinner instead of you.

The Kids Cook Real Food Course is taught by my friend Katie, a trained teacher with a passion for making sure our children know how to nourish themselves well before they head off to college.

Something to put under the tree:

Cute little aprons or whisks.

6. Wishgarden Herbs Gift Card

WishGarden makes blends loved by frequent travelers, athletes, new moms, and not so new moms . . . and a gift card is a wonderful option if you’re not sure which formulas your recipient would love most.

They offer herbal supports for sleep, stress, immune health, digestion, and more – so your giftee can pick exactly what they need.

7. Green Kid Crafts Subscription

When my kids were younger they loved their Green Kid Crafts excavation kit and detective kit, which taught them how to dust for fingerprints and write messages using different “invisible ink” techniques.

Something to put under the tree: A note telling your recipient to expect something fun in the mail. (Kids love mail!)

8. Thrive Market Membership

If your gift recipient loves discovering better-for-you brands but not grocery store chaos, this is the perfect fit. Thrive Market is basically Whole Foods meets Costco – only everything ships straight to their doorstep.

With a membership, they’ll save 25–55% on organic pantry staples, clean beauty, home goods, supplements, and so much more. It’s the kind of gift that makes everyday life easier (and healthier!).

Gifting it is simple: scroll to the bottom of the Thrive Market page and select “Give Gift Card.” You can even include a starting shopping credit so they can stock up on their favorites right away.

Something to put under the tree: Something to put under the tree:

  • A small treat they can actually buy on Thrive, like artisan chocolate
  • A pretty kitchen towel + wooden spoon
  • A few glass canisters to organize their new pantry goodies

11 Last Minute Herb and Essential Oil Gift Ideas from Simple Life Mom

11 Last Minute Herb and Essential Oil Gift Ideas

I love making handmade herb and essential oil gifts. They are pure, healthy, beneficial, and they even help to teach those who do not use herbs and essential oils very often. That’s another reason these last minute herbs and essential oil gift ideas are so great.

On top of all of that, you can make them the day before or the morning of an event, so they make wonderful last minute gifts!

Herb and Essential Oil Sources

Before we jump into recipes and ideas, it’s important to consider sources. Herbs and essential oils vary in quality because how you raise or process a plant will effect the product.

Organically raised plants that are harvested while they are at their prime will produce highly quality herbs and oils.

I have, in a pinch, purchased herbs and oils from locations that I don’t typically buy from because I haven’t researched them thoroughly. Even though they were ok (though I have returned or thrown away products before), they were not as potent and in the end money was wasted.

So do your research. There are a lot of wonderful sources out there, especially for herbs. Good essential oils can be more difficult to find. But don’t let someone tell you they are the only good source. Not true.

My go to sources are usually Herbal Academy, Starwest Botanicals, and Bulk Apothecary. These are great for herbs! Starwest Botanicals is high quality when it comes to essential oils. And Herbal Academy is a wonderful source of herbal knowledge.

11 Last Minute Handmade Herb and Essential Oil Gifts

1. Herbal Academy Course

If you or someone you love wants to learn from scratch or expand their already advanced knowledge, they have courses specifically tailored for you. Here’s a few of my favorites:

  • Introductory Herbal Course
  • Botanical Skin Care Course
  • Botany & Wildcrafting Course
  • Clinical Herbalist Path Package

If you have shea butter on hand, some body lotion can be made with oils like olive, apricot kernel, sweet almond, avocado, hemp, primrose and so many more. You choose! Here’s my favorite recipe. I also have hand salves and lotions in my shop.

4. Herbal Teas

If you have a tea drinker in your life, you an make a custom set of herbal teas and place them in 4 oz jelly mason jars and tie a ribbon around them. Here are Herbs to help you sleep and herb and fruit combinations for detox.

5. Elderberry Syrup and Hand Salve

This is a wonderful gift set. Having an herbal hand salve ready for winter dry hands and feet is such a great gift. This plus elderberry syrup for a pick me up and self defense when colds hit make a great gift set. Learn how to make elderberry syrup here and get my favorite hand salve recipe here (Or find it in my shop to get it now).

6. Lip Balm

Lip balm is always something I suggest for a last minute gift because you can make a of it and everyone loves it. I have a basic lip balm recipe, herbal lip balm recipe, instructions for how to color or flavor lip balm, and even a chocolate truffle lip balm recipe. So have fun!

7. Essential Oil blends for diffusers

There are so many wonderful holiday scents that you can combine and give as gifts. This can be less expensive when you use a tiny sampler type bottle like this. Here are blends for:

8. Natural Beeswax Candles

These can be made in one day if you have beeswax, wicks, and 4 ounce mason jars. You can get full instructions here.

9. Handmade Ornaments

If you’d like to make something memorable, then an old fashioned ornament scented with essential oils or made with herbs can be a fun family project. Get some great ideas here.

10. Car Air Freshener

This is another fun projects that kids love to do for parents and grandparents. They can cut up some felt into their favorite shapes or decorate a jar and make a wonderful car air freshener. Here are some great ideas and instructions.

11. Bath and Body Products

This can be a super long list, but think of what you have on hand and what would be a fun combination to make for someone so that you can put together a nice basket or bag of goodies for them.

I could go on and on, but if you want more ideas, just do a quick search on my website. Tell me if you don’t find what you’re looking for and I’ll try and put it together for you or direct you toward some good sources. Have fun! and let me know what your favorite projects have been this year.

stocking stuffer ideas

Healthy Stocking Stuffer Ideas (To Make and Buy)

What is it about a Christmas stocking? Old or young, waking up on Christmas morning to a stocking lumpy with little surprises has its own special joy. These healthy stocking stuffer ideas have the perfect gift for everyone on your list!

It’s always fun pulling the hidden items out to reveal the small gifts inside, even if it’s something as small as a pack of gum or as practical as a pair of fuzzy new socks! Having all of these ideas in one big list makes your holiday season shopping even easier (even if you did miss the Black Friday deals).

The Tradition of Christmas Stockings

Thanks to the famous poem “The Night Before Christmas,” we know Christmas stockings have been “hung by the chimney with care” for over 200 years. But exactly how long ago the tradition began and why it became so popular aren’t as well known.

Most agree the Christmas stocking tradition pays tribute to St. Nicholas, the real man behind today’s Santa traditions.

The legend goes that St. Nicholas heard of a widowed man who couldn’t pay a dowry for his three daughters. This was a desperate situation in those times. St. Nicholas dropped gold coins down the widower’s chimney by night and a coin fell into one of the stockings hung by the fire to dry. The widower and his daughters were overjoyed to find the coins the next morning, their worries over.

The example of St. Nicholas continues to shape our idea of the true spirit of Christmas today! My kids also participate in the St. Nicholas Day tradition of leaving a boot out for “St. Nick” to fill with treats every December 6th.

Best Stocking Stuffer Ideas for the Whole Family

Here are some stocking stuffer ideas on the healthier side. I’ve come up with these over the years or heard others recommend them. And don’t forget to check out my 2025 Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide. It has plenty of last-minute ideas for your whole Christmas list!

I have several individual gift guides, one for kids, one for her, and another gift guide for men. Those include some great stocking stuffer ideas separated by gender and age. The lists below are divided by category and include perfect stocking stuffer ideas for various ages and people. A lot of them are also good stocking stuffers for kids.

On to the list…

Edible Stocking Stuffer Gift Ideas

Something for the foodie on your list.

DIY and Beauty Christmas Gift Ideas

DIY skincare makes great gifts for everyone who loves a little self-care. Or if DIY isn’t your thing, there are plenty of natural versions to get your loved ones. Many of the skincare gift sets at stores have ingredients I’m not a fan of. You can easily create your own healthy beauty stocking stuffers with the ideas below!

Health Nut Stocking Stuffers

These supplements and healthy products are great for the health nut on your list. From immune boosting to brain support, there are plenty of options. I’ve even included kid-friendly ones.

Experiences / Sentimental

Give your loved ones the precious gift of your time and attention. These are great to give to the kids, a spouse, or even grandparents.

  • Coupon for “date” with Mom or Dad
  • Carousel or gaming tokens
  • Movie night with a favorite dessert coupon
  • A coupon to stay up an hour late (special Mom and Dad time!)
  • A coupon to pick the meals for a day
  • Mini photo book with family memories and inspirational quotes
  • A personalized bookmark for your reading enthusiast (and a book to go with it!)
  • A keepsake letter or love note
  • Movie tickets or gift certificates
  • A flip photo book with pictures from the year

Perfectly Practical Stocking Stuffers

Who says socks can’t make a good Christmas gift? Even if they’re not a socks person, here are some fun, yet practical gifts they’ll love.

Games & Fun

I love giving games as gifts in the kids’ stockings. It encourages learning, brain development, and creativity, and they have tons of fun with them. They’re also great for family game nights. And fun-loving adults appreciate them too!

Crafty Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Have a crafter on your list? Here are some arts and crafts gifts that are perfect for their stockings. I love sitting down at the table and doing art with the kids. And this gives them more supplies for our family art sessions.

Themed Stocking Stuffer Ideas

Instead of a bunch of random gifts, you can do a stocking stuffer theme! These are great for kids and adults alike.

  • “Adventure” kit for camping: compass, mini-flashlight, beef jerky, trail mix, binoculars, fanny pack – or buy one already made
  • Letter-writing kit: stationery, stickers, pen, address book, fun stamps
  • Crafting kit: yarn and crochet hooks, mini cross-stitch set, buttons, stickers, ribbon
  • Art supplies: watercolor paints, brushes, glue, stickers, paper punch or stamps
  • Purse theme (for mom or older child): mints, tissues pack, pens, hand lotion

Just Because Stocking Stuffer Gifts

Here are some other fun ideas that didn’t really fit into the categories above.

One fun twist on the stocking stuffer tradition. Instead of gifting everything in one day, slip one new gift into the stockings on each of the twelve days of the Christmas season. This traditionally runs from Dec. 25 to the feast of the Epiphany on Jan. 6. Your kids will love looking forward to a new surprise. And it will help keep their focus on the whole Christmas season!

What are some of your favorite healthy stocking stuffer ideas? Let me know in the comments!

unique gifts

Creative & Unique Gift Ideas (They Don’t Already Have)

I’ve shared my holiday gift guide, but many of you have asked for a gift guide of unusual ideas that aren’t the normal kitchen gear, clothing, and toys. This list of gift ideas is just that… a compilation of unique and creative ideas that your recipient likely won’t already have!

All of these gifts are practical, healthy, and usable, so they won’t sit on a shelf. Give them for a wedding, birthday, or just because. As a bonus, if you live in the same house as your recipient, you can also take advantage of the health benefits of these gifts!

Food and Drink

Chemex With Coffee

I have two rules when it comes to coffee… I don’t drink it every day, and I only drink good coffee. My Chemex is one of my favorite ways to make coffee. It’s a pour-over coffee maker that makes coffee without any trace of bitterness or acidity. Plus, it’s beautiful.

Pair it with some healthy, delicious coffee from Four Sigmatic coffee or Purity coffee. Use code wellnessmama for a discount.

Camel Milk

Years ago I got to try camel milk at a conference and was surprised to learn how nutritious it really is. It’s more similar to human breastmilk than cow or goat milk and it doesn’t have the same proteins that many are allergic to. This also means you can freeze it and the texture stays the same.

If you don’t happen to have a camel dairy in your neighborhood, here’s where you can buy frozen camel milk.

Barukas Nuts

A totally different type of nut, Barukas nuts have a unique nutritional profile. They’re found only in South America and are wild-harvested. Barukas are thought to be the healthiest nut thanks to their high protein, fiber, minerals, trace elements, and antioxidants. They’re roasted to neutralize anti-nutrients and increase absorption and taste great in recipes or as a snack.

CSA Box

A great way to support local farms and give the gift of fresh veggies all year. CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture,” and it means the member is essentially sharing in the yield of the farm that year. We’ve been a member of several different CSAs over the years and loved them all.

You can find products like dairy, meat, fruits, veggies, and even fresh-cut flowers, depending on the farm. Search here for CSAs in your area to find one near you.

Cacao Calm

An absolutely delicious and healthy hot cocoa drink! This one also makes a great stocking stuffer. Cacao calm is expertly crafted by my friend and chocolatier Jonathan Pantalis to have a beneficial amount of stress-relieving adaptogens. I love drinking this before bed!

Clearly Filtered Water Bottle

I’ve bought (and used) several different water bottles over the years, but this one from Clearly Filtered is certainly unique. It’s stainless steel and has a built-in filter that eliminates up to 99.99% of contaminants without removing beneficial minerals. Plus, you can refill it from practically anywhere for fresh, filtered water.

Nature Lovers

Mountain Rose Herbs

One of my favorite places to get high-quality, ethically sourced herbs. Mountain Rose Herbs is my go-to for bulk herbs, but they also have essential oils, tinctures, teas, and bath and body products. Give them some ready-made products or some ingredients to make their own DIY projects.

Flower Press and Glass Frame

Many people love to decorate their homes with fresh flowers, but flowers don’t last that long. With a wooden flower and plant press though, they can preserve nature for years to come! Once they’ve pressed a variety of leaves and flowers, they can arrange them in a beautiful display with this hanging glass frame.

Mushroom Log

You may have heard of mushroom growing kits that come in a box, but these fungi come with their very own log. They can grow organic shiitake mushrooms in just 10 days from inside their own home. They don’t even need to have a green thumb since these mushrooms are guaranteed to grow. Each box/log can grow two crops of mushrooms.

Kids

Kids Daylight Computer

It’s like an iPad but so much better. I love my Daylight Computer and use it when I need to take notes before bed. Their kids’ version is similar, with no blue light, no flashy colors or videos that overstimulate, and features calm learning apps and experiences.

The Kids’ Daylight Computer values curiosity and growth and can even be used outside in direct sunlight.

Talkbox

Know some kids (or their family) who want to learn a foreign language? Talkbox is unique in that it approaches language in a natural progression. First, we hear a language, then we see it, then we learn how to speak it.

I also love that it’s designed to be used in real-life, everyday situations, and the whole family is involved!

Puzzle Boxes

These beautiful Japanese puzzle boxes are a unique way for older kids and adults to keep valuable items safe, and they’re fun to learn. They’re handmade and require creativity and problem-solving. Or gift a Money Maze Puzzle Box with cash inside. This way they get the fun of a puzzle plus cash to get whatever they want.

Balance Bike

This one is only recommended for the 5-and-under crowd on your list. It’s a fun approach to a training bike. No training wheels or pedals here, just an ultra-light bike that teaches balance. The best part? Kids can carry it, put it away, and move it on their own.

Bodycare

Red Light Facemask

This one can look a little weird when you’re wearing it, but the benefits are well worth it! For anyone who wants targeted red light therapy on their face to help with inflammation and aging. The red light face mask works at a cellular level to rejuvenate cells.

Hard Lotion

I started making lotion bars years ago and have quite a few recipes on the blog. You can also add any skin-friendly essential oil you want to the base recipe here. And if you prefer not to DIY, MadeOn makes great hard lotion bars that meet my standards. Use code wellnessmama for a discount.

Red Light Toothbrush

I recently switched to this red light toothbrush and I’m loving it! It combines two of my favorite things: oral health and red light therapy. The near infrared and red light help to calm gum inflammation and promote circulation. And the sonic vibrations stimulate and massage.

Ice Roller

I’ve been known to dunk my face in ice water for some facial cold therapy. Not everyone wants to do that though, so an ice roller is the next best thing. It helps depuff the skin, drain lymph, and tighten and tone skin. I love the mint ice roller from Skinny Confidential.

LED Teeth Whitening

Ditch the whitening strips with this LED teeth whitener. This option does not use peroxide or other chemicals that can cause irritation, burns, and enamel erosion. Instead, they use a natural whitening gel with remineralizing hydroxyapatite, charcoal, essential oils, and other natural ingredients. And the LED system uses red and blue light therapy to target bacteria and reduce inflammation.

Red Light Hat

Is your recipient looking for fuller, healthier hair? BON CHARGE has a new red light therapy cap that uses 650nm red light to stimulate hair follicles. It takes just 10 minutes a day and they can easily wear it while doing other activities.

Rest and Recover

JOOVV Go light

I bought one for my mom years ago and she loves it! Red light therapy helps improve skin, boost collagen, and improve mitochondrial function. The Go Light from Joovv is a mini version for on-the-go red light therapy. I also have a Joovv Combo light, a modular option. So your recipient can purchase more panels later on for a more full-body experience.

Trigger Point Massage

A Trigger Point Massage Tool looks like a cane but works for self-massage. It hits hard-to-reach spots and is great for releasing tension in the back. I love to use this while watching a movie (bonus if you’re sitting on the yoga ball chair too!).

Myobuddy Massager

I got the Myobuddy Massager as a gift and it’s one of my favorite things now! It’s basically percussive massage meets myofascial release meets infrared heat. It feels like a mixture of deep tissue massage and fascia massage, and I find it so relaxing! Use the code wellnessmama for a discount.

Sauna Blanket

There are so many benefits to daily sauna use, and an at-home one is the easiest way to accomplish this. We have a two-person Clearlight Sauna and I love it because it’s my “quiet box” where I go to sweat, listen to a podcast, and get a few minutes of me time.

The sauna blanket from BON CHARGE is an affordable, portable option. Use code wellnessmama20 for a discount. I also like the sauna blankets from Higher Dose. Use code wellnessmama15 for a discount.

Pranamat

Improve sleep, relieve tension, and increase relaxation in just a few minutes a day. The Pranamat has thousands of acupressure relief points that increase blood flow to muscles in your back and neck. This can help reduce inflammation and pain while releasing endorphins. It also boosts circulation and helps muscles breathe a sigh of relief!

Unlike other acupressure mats, Pranamat uses natural fibers like untreated cotton, linen, and buckwheat hulls for pillow stuffing. Use code wellnessmama for a discount.

WAVwatch

I got to try the WAVwatch at a conference and I bought it on the spot! It uses restorative frequencies to target specific organs and areas in the body. The WAVwatch comes preloaded with 166 frequency sets that address everything from sleep issues to reproductive health to headaches and more. Use code wellnessmama for a discount.

LeelaQ Energy Products

You don’t have to understand quantum mechanics to harness its power. LeelaQ offers their quantum blocks, which harmonize energy and help protect from harmful energies like 5G and other radiation. They offer a variety of quantum energy products for every budget.

Mini Trampoline

Great for the lymphatic system, as an easy way to exercise, and just plain fun! A mini trampoline (also called a rebounder) will fit in most houses, and jumping on it is a great daily practice. They’re great to keep in the living room while watching your favorite shows or for small brain and movement breaks during the day.

Balance Chair

Have someone on your list who works at a desk for part of the day? Many companies are fine with switching out a chair for a more ergonomic chair, even if they won’t go for a standing workstation. This balance chair combines a yoga ball and a rolling chair for a desk chair that engages the core and negates some of the harmful aspects of sitting.

Full Spectrum Lamp

For anyone who experiences Seasonal Affective Disorder or daytime sleepiness, a sunlight lamp may be the answer. It has a bright full-spectrum bulb that simulates daytime, even indoors, and even in the winter. This is the one I use to keep my cortisol levels healthy.

Everything Else

Magic Wallet

Not just any wallet. This magic leather wallet is like a magical illusion and is fun to use. It’s also made by my favorite leather company, Saddleback Leather. Made from full-grain leather and comes with a 100-year guarantee.

Daylight Computer

I started using the innovative new Daylight Computer after sunset because it’s more circadian-friendly. There’s no blue light, so it won’t mess with your hormones and can be used even in direct sunlight. It has a fast, paper-like display to read, write, take notes, and use your favorite apps. The first computer that’s more nature and human-focused for a distraction-free digital experience.

Pet Probiotic

Have a pooch-loving friend or family member who would love a gift for their pet? Get healthy probiotics for their cat, dog, or horse here. It contains probiotics, prebiotics, and digestive enzymes for better digestion and happier pets.

Probiotics For the Home

It turns out our homes have a microbiome just like our guts, mouths, and skin. We can improve our gut bacteria in many ways, but we can also support our skin and gut microbiome by interacting with probiotics in our environment.

These beneficial bacteria may also help ward off mold and odors in the home. Homebiotic is probiotics for the home environment that the super-crunchy person on your list may just love!

Personalized Photo Book

I make a photo book for each of my kids every year with special memories from the past year. Use Mixbooks to customize the design and size and get hardcover or lay-flat options. Record memories from a special trip or event in your photo book for your recipient to cherish.

What are some unique gifts you’ve given or gotten over the years? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
