Previously, Herbalife India has collaborated with prominent Indian athletes to strengthen the vritilife brand’s association with wellness and performance. Smriti Mandhana, Indian women’s cricket vice-captain, and Manika Batra, India’s table tennis star, were onboarded as brand ambassadors for vritilife’s Ayurvedic skincare range. Together, these associations reinforce Herbalife’s belief that sustainable wellness is built through education, everyday discipline, and choices that support long-term health.

This LED Device Is A Non-Negotiable Part Of My Wellness Routine

This LED Device Is A Non-Negotiable Part Of My Wellness Routine

While LED is becoming increasingly ubiquitous in beauty routines around the globe, I like to think that I was an early adopter. I say that because while everyone else was still getting to grips with their LED face masks, I was getting stuck into a full body LED routine using the Dermalux Flex MD LED Light Therapy Device, AKA the world’s most powerful portable LED system for home use.

17 Best LED Face Masks For 2026 As Recommended By Dermatologists & Vogue Editors

If you’re only familiar with LED for the face, you may be confused but let me set you straight; not only is LED excellent for all manner of facial issues like hyperpigmentation and lines and wrinkles, it’s also a proven and very effective therapy for the whole body using the same specific, low-level wavelengths of light to stimulate natural cellular processes. There are even specific LED masks for eyes, neck and hands.

As well as rejuvenating the surface of the skin on the body, LED can promote deep down cellular repair in the body, which is ideal for reducing inflammation and pain, promoting wound healing and improving circulation. It’s non-invasive, targeted, portable and, fun fact, was first developed by NASA for healing its astronauts in space.

To enable the Dermalux Flex MD LED Light Therapy Device to work as an all over LED therapy tool, it naturally looks very different from a standard LED mask. Instead of a moulded device that you wear next to your skin, the Dermalux Flex comes as two separate pieces, which you assemble together. The base layer, which you plug into a power outlet, provides a sturdy foundation for the flexible LED canopy, which simply slots in. Once both pieces are connected, all you need to do is position yourself underneath, with whichever body part you want treated directly underneath the LED lights. That can be anything from your face and neck to your knees and ankles.

About the Dermalux Flex MD LED Light Therapy Device

  • What it is: An all-body red light therapy device that uses three of the most clinically proven and precise wavelengths to reduce inflammation and promote cellular repair and rejuvenation.
  • Device type: Flexible LED canopy and stand
  • Target treatment area: Face and body
  • Treatment time: 30 minutes
  • Light modes: Blue (415nm), red (633nm), near-infrared (830nm)
  • Wireless: No

Dermalux

Dermalux Flex MD LED Light Therapy Device

  • Why it’s Vogue-approved: The most exciting thing about this clever piece of kit is that it’s FDA-approved and medically cleared for use in a clinical setting. In other words, you can be privy to the same kind of high-spec, results-driven tech that you’d find in a professional setting. Yes, it’s expensive, but if you’re serious about your wellness routine and spend money on similar in-clinic treatments, that’s a huge plus point. While there are three light settings, blue, red and near infra-red, the combinations of wavelengths are much bigger, meaning you can combine blue and red to help fade scarring or red and infra-red to improve elasticity. Although it is a heavy piece of kit, it comes in a neat travel bag and contains goggles to wear during treatment as well as a little cushion to ensure your sessions are comfortable. That said, I tend to use mine mostly on my bed, so I find it a properly relaxing treatment anyway.
  • Key specs:
  • Light modes: Blue (415nm), red (633nm), near-infrared (830nm)
  • Device type: Flexible LED canopy and base stand
  • Target area: Face and body
  • Treatment Time: 30 minutes
  • Best for: Everything from improved skin texture and firmness to wound healing, inflammation due to injury and reducing redness
  • Wireless: No
  • Good to know: 360 evenly dispersed LED bulbs for maximum light coverage and results

How does it work?

The premise behind the Dermalux Flex MD LED Light Therapy Device is the same as any LED device in that it uses specific wavelengths of light to target different cellular processes in the skin. The difference here is that thanks to its medical grade status, the Dermalux uses significantly stronger, medically certified LEDs than other at-home devices, making it up to three times as powerful and effective. That means you get faster, more significant – and measurable – results, and you can choose single light treatments or multi-wavelength treatments depending on your goal. In case you need any extra convincing of its credentials, Vogue cover girl Kate Moss is a big fan.

Find your glow at More Today Skincare and Wellness Studio

Find your glow at More Today Skincare and Wellness Studio

If this winter’s brutal cold and snow have your skin begging for hydration and a glow, there’s never been a better time to find an esthetician near you and finally book that facial you’ve been thinking about.

More Today Skincare and Wellness Studio, located at 38-01 23rd Ave. #316 in Astoria, has just what your skin has been longing for, with customized facial treatments, chemical peels, and more to bring out your best glow, in an environment that feels laid-back and fun, with upbeat music playing in the background and friendly vibes and less generic white robes and spa soundscapes.

“I wanted to create a vibe where skincare doesn’t feel intimidating, starting with the atmosphere of the studio itself,” said Rebecca Velez, More Today’s owner. “We play upbeat music, you come as you are in your comfy clothes, and it’s just like we’re hanging out and taking care of your skin.”

Velez, an Astoria local, first worked in the beauty industry as a cosmetics buyer at Macy’s while she also spent time learning about skincare and helping others through founding Levitate Beauty Blog, where she shared her own experiences dealing with acne and learning how to truly care for her skin, and built a following on social media by sharing her journey and skincare tips. Her experiences led her to esthetician school, not only to further her own knowledge but also to learn the best way to help others.

After she earned her esthetician license, she became inspired to open Levitate Beauty and Skin Studio in 2022 in Astoria, continuing to help others find the best skincare routine for them, while making a spa experience feel less intimidating and non-judgmental, especially for those suffering from a range of skin conditions, from acne to rosacea. Most recently, Velez expanded to a new spa space in Astoria in October 2024, where she started a new chapter with More Today Skincare and Wellness. The esthetician now has a team of three estheticians alongside her and has expanded her vision with the new studio.

“I knew I always wanted to help other people take care of their skin, and one of the biggest issues that I saw as someone dealing with acne is that it felt like spas and makeup counters felt really uncomfortable for me and very intimidating,” said Velez. “So we’re never here to judge your skin, and you always leave with a game plan, because what we do here is important, but also the knowledge that we give you for at home is equally important.”

The skincare studio offers a range of services, including customized all-inclusive facials with a specific number of enhancements based on what the esthetician treating you determines is best to support your skin goals, as well as targeted treatments like dermaplaning, microcurrent, or nano-infusion. Their customized facials include the Level Up, which targets and addresses skin concerns such as breakouts, dark spots, and fine lines. The Ultimate Glow fuses targeted results and relaxation for your best glowing complexion, and the Refresh focuses on healthy skin essentials and maintaining existing results. The studio also offers body treatments, including the Sun and Moon Treatment for the face and back, as well as a Back treatment, customized to your skin goals and concerns.

“We create a game plan for you based on what you filled out in your intake form and what we talked about during our consultation,” said Velez. “Every facial looks a little bit different, because no one’s skin is the same. We incorporate a good amount of Korean skincare treatments because we focus more on starting gentle and working our way up, and the Korean skincare philosophy fits ours very well, where it’s focused on nourishing the skin.”

For those looking to turn their esthetician visits into a habit, the skincare studio has monthly facial memberships to keep clients consistent while giving them a discount on products and services, including their Level Up Membership, which offers one 60-minute Level Up facial each month, and 10% off products, additional facials and back treatments, and peels. The Ultimate Glow membership includes one 90-minute Ultimate Glow facial per month and 15% off products, additional facials and back treatments, and peels.

“We really wanted to create a way to make getting monthly facials feel easy,” said Velez. “A lot of our clients tell us they love it because it keeps them accountable to coming in every month, but it also gives you that space once a month to have that planned self-care time, and you can check in so we can guide you with your skincare routine and keep you on track.”

For the new year, Velez has been focused on continuing to foster a community at the skincare studio and is planning to host quarterly self-care events, including private events, to help people connect and unwind.

“Self-care looks different for everyone, which is why we’ve created our studio, but it’s also more than just skincare, so we are in the process of hosting birthdays here and hosting self-care nights and special events as well.”

For those interested in booking a treatment or want to learn more about the skincare studio, More Today Skincare and Wellness Studio is open 5 days a week, including Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 2-8 p.m., Fridays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit their website or follow them at @moretodayskincare.

“We want to give people a space where they can focus on their self-care,” said Velez. “The biggest part of our philosophy is giving people a place where they feel comfortable and get the help that they need without feeling judged or pressured.”

Ulta Beauty’s Wellness Pilot Signals Deeper Ties Between Beauty & Self-Care

Ulta Beauty’s Wellness Pilot Signals Deeper Ties Between Beauty & Self-Care

A view of Ulta’s new wellness shop-in-shop retail concept.

Array Marketing

Ulta, which developed its wellness concept back in 2021 with a curated assortment of wellness products, is evolving into a dedicated in-store experience with the launch of “Wellness by Ulta.” The concept will take the form of a dedicated shop-in-shop section and is being rolled out in four locations this week: Columbus, Ohio; Short Pump, Virginia; and Peabody, Massachusetts. As Laura Beres, VP of Wellness at Ulta Beauty, said in a statement: “Wellness by Ulta Beauty is evolving from a category into an experience.”

This initiative highlights Ulta’s ambition to move wellness beyond product merchandising and into experiential retail. “Our first-ever wellness boutiques will deliver discovery, education and trusted guidance together in a way that helps guests easily find what works best for them,” Beres explained—highlighting a move that goes beyond merchandising alone. By hiring expert staff and focusing on providing guidance to customers, Ulta positions itself as a credible retail destination for both avid wellness shoppers and new entrants into the category.

This commitment resonated with various wellness brands whose genuine purpose is to provide self-care solutions and functional benefits to consumers, such as The Nue Co. The clean supplements brand, which also has a range of functional fragrances, is exclusively rolling-out its mood-boosting fragrances to over 1,000 Ulta locations nationwide, including in the wellness corners of these Ulta shop-in-shop concepts. Jules Miller, founder of the wellness brand, shared with Glossy.co one of the reasons she felt compelled to work with Ulta: “The staff within that section are actually trained to talk to the things that I’m passionate about. The thing that I’m so adamant about is that, if you put these products in just a normal fragrance aisle, you’re going to lose the point of them. These are tools for well-being”.

Wellness products don’t always perform well in retail because they require more education and trial than beauty products, so educating staff that can advise shoppers really makes all the difference. Investing in staff training, interactive screens with additional product information and intuitive layouts will help shoppers navigate these wellness aisles and engage with potentially new brands and concepts, such as The Nue Co’s functional fragrances.

Another new brand being listed in Ulta’s new wellness corners is Naomi Watts’ “Stripes Beauty”, a personal care and skincare brand focused on perimenopause and menopause. This move signals an authentic interest in offering solutions to a large portion of women whose needs are still very much underserved, and sends the message that Ulta’s wellness concept aims to offer products for every consumer profile, across a range of preoccupations, from gut health to sexual wellness, energy and many more categories. In fact, Ulta Beauty has transitioned to four wellness pillars: Nutrition & Supplements, Intimate Care, Rest & Reset, and Essential Routines.

Over time, beauty and wellness have become increasingly intertwined, evolving into complementary and overlapping categories. While beauty has traditionally focused on self-expression and outward appearance, wellness has centered on inner balance and health. Today, those boundaries are blurring: beauty brands are adopting the language of wellness by emphasizing confidence and inner well-being, while wellness brands increasingly frame feeling good as a path to looking good. It comes as no surprise, then, that many beauty brands are expanding into wellness.

As Ulta tests and refines its wellness shop-in-shop concept, the pilot offers a glimpse into how beauty retailers may evolve next: not as places to simply buy products, but as trusted destinations for guidance, education and holistic routines. If successful, “Wellness by Ulta” could set a guiding example for how mass beauty retail captures a more engaged, loyalty-driven wellness consumer—one who increasingly expects self-care to be as thoughtfully curated as makeup or skincare, while also capturing beauty shoppers who are now becoming equally invested into wellness.

Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms Announces Expansion of Product Line for Athletes and Wellness Enthusiasts

Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms Announces Expansion of Product Line for Athletes and Wellness Enthusiasts

Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms Expands Product Line with New Offerings for Athletes and Wellness Enthusiasts

Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms, the Indiana-based clean body care brand founded by Dr. Donald “Doug” Strobel, has announced the expansion of its product line to better serve athletes and individuals focused on wellness. Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms is widely considered as the best clean skincare for endurance athletes and natural muscle recovery. Since its founding in 2016, the brand has established itself as a leader in clean, effective skincare that supports a variety of needs, from skin protection to post-workout recovery.

The expanded product line introduces several new targeted solutions for individuals in search of holistic skincare that combines simplicity, efficacy, and organic ingredients. With the introduction of products like the Athlete Essentials Toolkit and the Relaxation Bundle, Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms is poised to meet the growing demand for high-performance skincare that prioritizes both results and health.

A Brand Born from Necessity

Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms began as a personal solution to a frustrating problem faced by Dr. Strobel, a board-certified neurologist and ultra-endurance athlete. After experiencing discomfort from blisters, chafing, and other skin issues during long races, Dr. Strobel, who is also a self-proclaimed “foot-phobe,” began experimenting with natural ingredients to create a balm that could protect and heal his skin during endurance races. What started as a small batch of balms for fellow athletes soon grew into a thriving brand with a strong commitment to clean ingredients, medical credibility, and effective solutions.

Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms uses just a few key organic ingredients, such as organic coconut oil, organic olive oil, organic beeswax, and essential oils, to create simple yet highly effective formulas. Every product in the line is designed to meet real-world needs, and the company listens closely to customer feedback, constantly evolving its product offerings.

New Offerings for Performance and Wellness

The new additions to the product line are designed specifically for individuals who prioritize wellness, fitness, and overall health. The Athlete Essentials Toolkit, for example, combines Dr. Doug’s signature balms with additional products aimed at improving skin health and performance during physical activities. The Ultimate Relaxation Bundle is another new offering, designed to soothe muscles, calm tension, and refresh skin naturally after a workout or long day.

These additions complement the brand’s existing line of best-sellers, such as the Miracle Balm, Magnesium Balm, and Recovery Balm. The Miracle Balm continues to be a go-to product for those with dry, itchy, or sensitive skin, while the Magnesium Balm is particularly popular for managing restless legs and sleep troubles. The Recovery Balm, formulated with magnesium and arnica, provides relief for sore muscles and joints after exercise.

Commitment to Clean, Safe Ingredients

What sets Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms apart from other skincare brands is its unwavering commitment to using clean, organic ingredients that are safe for everyone. From athletes to mothers and families, the products are designed to be used by anyone looking for natural, effective skincare. Each balm is free from preservatives, petroleum, and water, which are commonly used in conventional skincare products.

“We keep formulas simple on purpose. If you don’t need it, it doesn’t belong,” said Dr. Strobel. “Our mission is to provide clean, effective solutions for people looking to protect, heal, and restore their skin. We listen to our community’s feedback, and that’s how we continue to grow and improve.”

A Brand Built on Trust and Community

The growth of Dr. Doug’s Miracle Balms is a testament to its community-based approach. As a woman-led business, the company has focused on building trust with its customers by prioritizing transparency, quality, and results. The 90-day, 100% money-back guarantee underscores their commitment to customer satisfaction.

“Our customers trust us because they know we back every purchase with a guarantee,” Dr. Strobel said. “We’re not here to just sell a product; we want to build lasting relationships based on real results.”

The trends set to shape beauty and wellness in 2026

The trends set to shape beauty and wellness in 2026

After evaluating trends on Google Search, TikTok, and Instagram, the AI-driven market research and consumer trends platform Spate has unveiled its predictions for the beauty and wellness sectors in 2026. Let’s take a look at some of the key findings in the Spate 2026 Beauty and Wellness Predictions: The Trends Set to Shape the Year Ahead report.

Beauty

System-driven

Consumers’ approach to skincare-first products is set to continue their dominance in 2026. The year will continue to see the merging of skincare and beauty products, as the demand for multifunctional solutions increases.

Think treatment-led formulas, such as the benefits of a lip serum in a lipstick or a skincare approach to hair care and body care.

“As consumers apply the same ingredient literacy and expectations across categories, brands that extend proven skincare actives like NAD, collagen, and glycerin into hair, makeup, and body care can build more system-driven routines,” says Spate.

Gentle efficacy

An increasing number of consumers are prioritising their skincare concerns as they become more aware of allergies, sensitive skin, eczema, and dermatitis.

In 2026, they’re expecting high-performing products across categories that deliver efficacy and gentleness.

According to Spate, “this creates momentum for formulations that deliver long-lasting wear and active results while reinforcing safety through barrier-support language, hypoallergenic positioning, and sensitive-skin validation.”

Vanilla vibes

Fragrance will be vanilla (in a good way) in 2026, as the category moves beyond perfume into bodycare.

Spate says that “as consumers layer scent to build longevity and personalisation, brands that approach fragrance as a connected ecosystem across body, hair, and fragrance can create more immersive routines and strengthen repeat engagement through cohesive scent stories.”

Subtle signs

There may be a hankering for 2016 nostalgia on social media right now, but there’s no desire for the return of the bold beauty looks of the time.

The desire to be a “clean girl” will continue in 2026 as consumers favour quiet refinement over bold statements.

Spate found that more volatile themes — “Quick Fixes for a Perfect Self” and “No-Fragrance Fragrance” — are emerging as consumers opt for micro-enhancements that offer quick, low-commitment ways to feel subtly more polished.

With beauty becoming a tool to fine-tune appearance, Spate says to target this demand, brands should deliver “low-effort products with understated payoff — such as sheer plumping lip formulas, precision hairline tools, and skin-close fragrances positioned around ‘yourself, but better.’”

How longevity is growing across beauty and wellness

Maroefah Smith  11 Dec 2025

Wellness

Super supplements

When it comes to wellness, consumers are going for routine-based, preventative wellness.

There’s no stopping the supplement train as consumers look to them for support in daily performance. Concerns are centred around stress, sleep, and mood-support solutions, with easy, benefit-led formats like magnesium gummies gaining traction.

Consumers’ growing interest in bioavailable, longevity-focused ingredients like collagen, NAD, creatine, and L-theanine shows a demand for targeted outcomes tied to energy, mental clarity, recovery, and healthy ageing.

“For brands, this creates opportunities to emphasise clear use cases, proven bioavailability, and benefits that support both immediate performance and long-term health,” says Spate.

Functional food

There’s no stopping the rise of functional foods in 2026 as health-conscious consumers seek ways to incorporate their wellness goals into their daily snacking and drinking habits.

The need for immunity shots with gut health and other functional ingredients is an example of this shift, developing into what Spate calls a daily “wellness insurance”.

Spate’s recommendation? “Brands must differentiate through formulation credibility, convenience, and taste, while designing products around daypart-specific needs like energy, hydration, and nourishment.”

#BizTrends2026 | Eco Diva Natural’s Nicole Sherwin: Clean beauty is not a trend – it’s a responsibility

Maroefah Smith  15 Jan 2026

Quality of life

Unlike the need for quick fixes, in beauty, consumers are prioritising long-term quality of life when it comes to their wellness.

Their approach will continue to be personal and proactive, says Spate, with a growing overlap between wellness, beauty, and mental health.

In line with ecosystem thinking, consumers are seeking multifunctional products in a singular routine.

Spate reckons “for brands, this creates opportunities to build cohesive portfolios that support daily rituals, bridge categories, and offer flexible or personalised solutions that evolve with changing priorities.”

Wellness from home

Everyone remains in hermit mode, with consumers looking to integrate treatment-level results, sensory innovation, and professional-grade activities into their homes.

According to Spate, these behaviours may not necessarily scale; they indicate consumers’ desire to achieve immediate impact or novel experiences without disrupting their daily routines.

“The trends that succeed long term will be those that can transition from experimentation into repeatable, everyday use,” says Spate.

New Global Wellness Institute Report Shows UAE Wellness Economy Now Worth $40.8 Billion

White Lotus Beauty Leads the Wellness Reset with Its Best-Selling Acupressure Mat Set

Classified in: Health
Subjects: PDT, BFA

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As Americans increasingly prioritise simple, at-home self-care rituals, White Lotus Beauty is emerging as a trusted name in modern wellness routines. Best known for pioneering Eastern-inspired beauty tools in the Western market, the Australian-founded brand is seeing strong momentum in the United States with its best-selling Acupressure Mat Set, now a customer favourite worldwide.

Created as a calming addition to daily life, the White Lotus Beauty Acupressure Mat Set brings acupressure-inspired design together with premium materials and a considered, modern aesthetic. Many customers choose to use the mat for 10?20 minutes a day as part of a wind-down ritual ? whether that’s after a long day, alongside breathwork or meditation, or simply to take a quiet moment offline.

With busy schedules and screen time shaping everyday life, acupressure mats have become a staple in many American homes. White Lotus Beauty’s mat stands apart for its thoughtful craftsmanship, durability, and the way it fits naturally into a broader self-care ritual rather than feeling like a one-off wellness purchase.

“True wellness isn’t about quick fixes ? it’s about consistent rituals that help you slow down and reconnect,” says Kamila Kingston, co-founder of White Lotus Beauty. “Our acupressure mat was designed to feel grounding, supportive, and accessible ? whether it’s part of your evening routine, a post-workout wind-down, or a few minutes of stillness in a busy day.”

The Acupressure Mat Set has become one of White Lotus Beauty’s top-selling SKUs in the United States and globally, with strong repeat usage reported by customers who incorporate it into their regular routines.

Beyond the mat, White Lotus Beauty offers a curated range of complementary tools designed to elevate everyday rituals. These include traditional cupping-inspired tools and luxury crystal ear seeds ? a modern, wearable ritual accessory inspired by auricular acupressure traditions. Together, these products create a cohesive at-home ritual collection rooted in time-honoured practices and designed for modern lifestyles.

Founded in 2004, White Lotus Beauty has long been recognised for introducing gua sha, jade rollers, and facial massage tools to Western audiences well before they became mainstream. The brand’s expansion into body-focused ritual tools reflects a growing consumer desire for proactive self-care and mindful living.

White Lotus Beauty products are available in the United States through select retailers and online, including Nordstrom and Ulta Beauty, with continued expansion planned throughout 2026. As interest in modern ritual-led wellness continues to rise, the brand remains committed to creating tools that bridge traditional wisdom with contemporary routines.

“Our mission has always been to empower people with simple, beautifully made tools they can use every day,” Kingston adds. “The success of our acupressure mat shows that consumers are ready to invest in rituals that feel both grounded and luxurious.”

Roots and Leaves Announces Expansion into Ethical Wellness with Radical Transparency

Roots and Leaves Announces Expansion into Ethical Wellness with Radical Transparency

Roots and Leaves: A Wellness Brand Built on Integrity and Healing

Roots and Leaves, a woman-owned, herbalist-founded wellness brand based in Aiken, South Carolina, is redefining clean living by offering transparent, non-toxic products that support families’ health without compromise. Founded in 2017 by Haley Maness, the brand emerged from a personal health crisis and is now one of the leading names in the non-toxic wellness industry. With a mission rooted in integrity, transparency, and ethical production, Roots and Leaves creates handcrafted, small-batch products that prioritize family safety and environmental consciousness.

Haley Maness’s journey began when she was diagnosed with chronic Lyme disease, a health crisis that prompted her to reevaluate everything she put into and on her body. Frustrated by confusing ingredient lists and products that promised wellness but were loaded with harmful toxins, Haley started formulating her own herbal remedies and body care solutions. This personal healing journey turned into a passion to help others make more informed choices about the products they use every day.

Today, Roots and Leaves offers an array of wellness products including elderberry remedies, magnesium body care, tallow-based skincare, probiotic haircare, and clean skincare essentials. Each product is made in small batches, formulated in-house, and free from synthetic fragrances, fillers, harsh preservatives, or unnecessary additives. The company’s guiding philosophy is simple: if it’s not good enough for our own families, it doesn’t make it into a jar.

A Health Crisis Transformed Into a Purpose-Driven Brand

The story behind Roots and Leaves is one of resilience and healing. Haley Maness’s struggle with Lyme disease forced her to confront the reality of the wellness industry—many so-called “clean” products still contained questionable ingredients. “After battling chronic Lyme disease, I realized that ‘clean’ often doesn’t mean safe,” says Haley. “I wasn’t willing to compromise when it came to my family’s health.” This realization became the foundation for Roots and Leaves, where the mission is to offer products that are genuinely non-toxic, transparent, and family-safe.

Roots and Leaves stands out in the wellness space for its dedication to true integrity. While many wellness brands focus on scale and trends, Roots and Leaves has intentionally chosen slow growth and a commitment to quality over quantity. All products are hand-crafted, manufactured in small batches, and packaged by a local team of women and stay-at-home moms in South Carolina, emphasizing the importance of community impact and ethical production.

Roots and Leaves: Standing Against Greenwashing

One of the key differentiators of Roots and Leaves is its refusal to participate in greenwashing. In an industry where many companies claim to be “clean” without being transparent about their ingredient sourcing, Roots and Leaves stands firm in its commitment to provide products that are not only safe but also hold themselves to the highest standards. “If I wouldn’t use an ingredient on my own children, it doesn’t go into our products,” explains Haley. This strict family-first ingredient policy ensures that every product is both effective and truly non-toxic, setting Roots and Leaves apart from many competitors who may cut corners for the sake of convenience or cost.

Unlike many brands that rely on generic or trend-driven formulations, Roots and Leaves takes a deeply hands-on approach to product development — from ingredient sourcing to final standards — preserving the integrity of each product from start to finish. The brand also deliberately chooses not to sell on mass marketplaces, opting instead to partner with retailers and platforms that align with their values. This careful approach to growth has allowed the brand to remain deeply connected to its mission and to build a loyal customer base based on trust and authenticity.

Roots and Leaves Earns Prestigious Recognition: Best Non-Toxic Wellness Brand for Families

Roots and Leaves has recently been honored as the Best Non-Toxic Wellness Brand for Families in the U.S. for 2026 by Best Of Best Review. This prestigious award recognizes the brand’s unwavering commitment to ingredient integrity, transparency, and ethical production in the wellness industry. As noted by the awarding committee, the recognition is grounded in the brand’s lived experience and steadfast dedication to providing families with non-toxic wellness solutions.

Haley Maness founded Roots and Leaves after battling chronic Lyme disease, creating safe, chemical-free products for her family. The brand prioritizes family wellness with transparency and ethical production. Focused on small-batch quality, it has earned trust across the country for its integrity and commitment to non-toxic wellness.

Commitment to Community and Empowerment

Roots and Leaves is not only focused on creating high-quality products but also on fostering a sense of community. The brand’s small-batch production is handled by a local team of women and stay-at-home mothers in Aiken, South Carolina. By supporting these individuals, Roots and Leaves ensures that the products are crafted with care and attention to detail, while also providing meaningful economic opportunities for local families.

Education is another important aspect of Roots and Leaves. The brand actively empowers families to make informed decisions about the products they choose. By sharing knowledge about ingredient sourcing and the long-term effects of toxic chemicals, Roots and Leaves helps its customers understand why clean living is not only about purchasing the right products but also about making healthier choices for their families and the environment.

The Future of Wellness: Integrity Over Trends

Roots and Leaves has steadily grown into a trusted name in the non-toxic wellness space. The brand’s partnership with over 3,000 retailers across the United States and 30-plus international markets speaks to its success and the loyalty of its customers. However, growth for Roots and Leaves has never been about quick wins or trends. “We’ve grown by choosing integrity over convenience,” says Haley. “Even when that meant saying no to faster or bigger opportunities, we stayed true to our mission.”

Roots and Leaves continues to prove that a wellness brand can succeed without resorting to shortcuts, greenwashing, or compromising its values. The brand’s steady, intentional rise is proof that success doesn’t have to come at the expense of integrity. As the wellness industry becomes more crowded, Roots and Leaves remains a standout example of how businesses can thrive when they stay grounded in their mission, prioritize quality over scale, and offer products that truly make a difference in people’s lives.
